Marble Light
70 seconds. A pure black-and-white sketch morphs, spins 360°, and transforms into a fully realized Gothic modernist atrium.
Mart enters frame left. She ascends the hero stairs. She descends. She moves through different spatial states—each step, each pivot, each spin revealing a new layer of the building.
She is not touring the architecture. She is moving through it. And her movement becomes the mechanism that transforms and reveals the space.
The World
The Gothic Modernist Atrium.
A grand, multi-story hall where clean, unadorned minimalism meets the vertical, spiritual aspiration of Gothic architecture. Soft, diffused natural light emphasizes texture and form. The scale is monumental, yet the use of natural materials and light prevents it from feeling cold or imposing.
The Wooden Staircase.
Not a rigid staircase but a flowing, sculptural form. Constructed from layered, light-colored wood with a prominent grain, it has a "tree-like" quality. It emerges from a thick, organic column on the left, curving upwards and to the right in a fluid, "floating" motion.
The Gothic Envelope.
Walls are stark white. Ceilings are vaulted with intricate white tracery. A series of large, arched windows with frosted glass transform direct light into a soft, diffused glow.
The Floor.
Polished white marble, traversed with subtle grey veining, reflecting the natural light and making the space feel even larger.
The Journey.

Mart enters frame left. She ascends the hero stairs in a wide shot. Then a close-up tracking shot as she continues her ascent. Back to a wide shot—people walking into a white door below.
She descends the stairs. A glimpse of frosted Gothic-inspired windows, Gothic white ceiling, glossy wooden conference tables. She walks in front of the activity happening behind her. She is a witness passing through.
Now the large tiered atrium. Organic wooden stairs tier along. She descends again. Close-up of her bright orange pumps touching the bottom. She turns with slight confusion. Her feet pivot—and she is now in the Gothic frosted space.
Close-up of her face walking along the wooden conference tables. She stops. Close-up of her hand grabbing a white swivel chair. She turns it around—and she is back in the hero stair space. She sits where seating should not be allowed. She crosses her legs.
She spins in the chair. One direction. Then back. Revealing the space. Extreme close-up of her face. Fade out.
She walks away from the camera in the tiered space. Final fade out.
